Student:Craft - Student Knowledge
Wow, so I've been so busy this past week at work I've been a little short on time. Learning Methods...check it out:
Lil' Notice
GOOD MORNING!...I'm currently typing this out at 2am and would like to make a quick announcement about our website (Before I forget)! I AM Working on it! I know a blog is perhaps not the best medium in the long term, but designs are currently in progress and I would like to ask you to bare with me. In the meantime, make some use of the articles and feel free to leave some feedback!
On a similar note, I have some pretty exciting ideas for the site and primarily the content involved. Hopefully I'll have a little more time pretty soon, so keep checking back for updates.
Those that requested a weekly shopping article...I have not forgotten and it will be coming soon!
Thankyou! =)
Introduction
Hey guys, so this is something that I found quite useful when I stumbled across it in a book I'm reading; 'The Introvert Advantage - Marti Laney'. I'm on an internship abroad this summer, so was looking for ways to increase my productivity and 'info-intake'.
Basically there are different learning styles and depending on your personality, either of the following MAY better suite your style of learning / absorbing information. Interestingly enough, research has shown that students can perform better on tests if they change study habits to fit their own personal style. Lets take a look at them and see where you might fit in;
VISUAL - AUDITORY - KINESTHETIC
The Benefits / Learning Methods:
It is important to understand that you don't and probably WONT directly fit into JUST ONE of these three categories. Personally, I have characteristics from the visual and auditory categories, however I'm still learning which methods best suite my personal style.
Short and sweet this week, but hope it was useful.
Next week I've got part 2 of our RULES SERIES (Check the first one: Student Rules: Delayed Gratification) and it's going to be about the importance of Setting Goals.
